Liz McPhillips’ practice focuses on civil litigation and the defense of corporate clients in high-exposure personal injury matters, including premises liability/premises security, automobile liability, and product liability cases.

Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. McPhillips worked as staff counsel for a national insurance company handling automobile, commercial and homeowners’ insurance matters throughout New Jersey. Ms. McPhillips has experience litigating general liability claims and insurance coverage matters. Ms. McPhillips also served as an Assistant Deputy Public Defender, handling felony criminal cases before the Superior Court of New Jersey. Ms. McPhillips has tried numerous civil and criminal matters to verdict.

Ms. McPhillips graduated from Rutgers University School of Law – Newark where she was a member of the Rutgers Law Review. She clerked for the Honorable Miguel A. De la Carrera.
