Nada M. Peters is a founding partner in the New Jersey office of d’QM and leads the Firm’s General Liability Defense and Complex Tort Litigation practice group. Ms. Peters regularly defends high-exposure matters consistently obtaining positive outcomes for her clients. Ms. Peters has extensive experience defending claims arising out of personal injury, including but not limited to premises liability/premises security, automobile liability, false arrest and malicious prosecution and product liability. She has handled cases ranging from simple slip and falls and defects in retail consumer goods to the defense of companies in litigation arising out of asbestos exposure. Ms. Peters works with corporate clients directly as well as through their insurance companies and third-party administrators, and has also represented government entities.
Ms. Peters also has experience litigating ERISA and non-ERISA life, health, and disability claims, interpleader matters and other insurance coverage litigation.
Ms. Peters regularly practices in State and Federal Courts throughout New Jersey and is also admitted in State and Federal courts in New York and Pennsylvania.
Before co-founding d’QM, Ms. Peters was a partner at d’Arcambal Ousley & Cuyler Burk, LLP and previously an Associate at Cuyler Burk, LLP. Prior to joining Cuyler Burk in 2007, Ms. Peters worked in the litigation department at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, where she was centrally involved in a two-year internal investigation of Fannie Mae. Ms. Peters has been recognized as a Rising Star by New Jersey Super Lawyers.
