Tiffany Millioen is a senior associate and has handled a broad range of traditional commercial litigations involving contract disputes, fraud, misrepresentation, and breach of fiduciary duty. Recently, her matters have included representing a leading commercial real estate lender in connection with its distressed mortgage portfolios, a consumer financial services company providing marketing services to residential mortgage lenders, and a mortgage broker contracting for mortgage processing services. These matters include an arbitration before the International Centre for Dispute Resolution and an evidentiary hearing regarding the validity of a scroll-through service contract.
Ms. Millioen’s practice also focuses on representing major insurance companies involving life, health, and disability insurance, including matters involving individual policies, ERISA group plans, and non-ERISA group plans, as well as allegations of bad faith, consumer fraud, rescission, and agent liability. Ms. Millioen has significant experience litigating insurance, annuity, and retirement benefit interpleader actions for several major insurance companies throughout the country.
Prior to joining d’QM, Ms. Millioen worked as general counsel to a national restaurant group where she oversaw litigation strategy, corporate governance, contracts, regulatory issues, and labor and employment matters. Ms. Millioen also worked at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP for ten years, where she represented financial institutions in a variety of securities and commercial litigations and related investigations, including matters involving residential mortgage-backed securities, structured products, and public employee pensions plans.
